Google Maps Directions

  1. Cross the bay and take 880 north to 238 to 580.
  2. Follow 580 to 205 to Tracy.
  3. After Tracy take the 120 past Manteca an follow directions to Yosemite.
  4. Once on Yosemite Ave you take a left on Jack-Tone road.
  5. Follow Jack-Tone until you hit highway 4 and turn right.
  6. Follow highway 4 all the way to Bear Valley.
  7. There is a Starbucks on the left when you get to Angel's Camp.
  8. When you get to Bear Valley park your car about 1/2 mile BEFORE you reach the village.
  9. The house is 200 feet up the hill to the left of the parking lot.
The entire trip takes about 3.5 hours on average.

Winter Driving

Make sure you bring a four wheel drive car, snow chains, and warm clothes. The roads are usually in good shape all the way up to Bear Valley, but be careful that you don't get caught in a snow storm.

You won't be able to drive all the way to the Cabin (it is about 200 feet up a steep hill). In the winter you will need to park near high way 4 and hike up the hill. We can usually get your luggage up the hill with the snow mobiles.
